Need to clean vs happy child

I’m no cleaning Nazi, but perhaps this indicates I should be a little more attentive to the household chores. But then again, would you touch this? Ick.

Cleaning is one of those things you have to do when people come over. I found a way around that, of course. I just don’t have people over anymore.

But really, this isn’t really a sign of a lackadaisical approach to cleanliness. It’s a sign that my child is happy. And isn’t happiness what life’s about?

So I will focus less on the cleaning and more on the happy.

I should draw more smiles in the dust.

And believe me – there’s plenty of opportunities for that around my place.
